Internet Woes & 1 month

Our internet is back from the dead! It was busted for 2 weeks-2 very long weeks.  Actually it's not back from the dead.  Our provider is Suddenlink and supposedly amidst the construction near our house a line was cut that affected our connection. After several phone calls, 3 maintenance visits and lots of frustration because they kept telling us our connection was fine & there wasn't anything wrong, we decided to SWITCH TO XANADOO.  We didn't cancel our Suddenlink yet b/c they said we wouldn't have to pay for anything and it might be working again by the middle of October.  Have you ever heard of an internet company telling its customers, "Yeah, we should have it up and running again in 3 weeks".  Are you kidding me?  All to say, I can now get online again!

Enough about that.  I'm sure I am well overdue for an update on Baby A.

Happy 1 month birthday to Annerson!  She turned 4 weeks on Sunday.  It's gone by so fast.  I feel like I just had her.

I don't have much time but here's a brief run down on what's been going on.  I go up to Covenant every week to meet with Nancy, the coolest lactation specialist ever.  She weighs Annerson to see how many ounces she's getting each feeding.  Each week she gets more milk than the week before. Praise God.  Seriously Praise Him!   I've been praying for years to be able to breastfeed my children and He answered that prayer favorably. It's nothing short of a miracle.  I'm sure the moms out there understand when I say that it's often frustrating.  It's tiring, sometimes takes forever, and is just one more reason for you not to get much needed sleep!  I have to remind myself that it is a gift & to not take it for granted.   I am taking herbal supplements, Fenugreek & Blessed Thistle, pumping & drinking Lactade (a yummy shake for milk supply).  It's a lot of work but so so worth it.  Last Friday she weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz.  She was born at 8 lbs. Not bad, at least she's gaining at a steady pace.
Lex went back to work full time on Sunday.  He had been off work since she was born w/ the exception of 2 shifts.  We were able to focus on bonding with Annerson & adjusting to being parents.  But now he is back in the ER and taking Genetics at Tech.  He worked Sunday & Monday, has lab & lecture all day today, is off tomorrow & then back to class on Thurs. & work on Friday.  He's juggling a lot right now.  I'm so proud of him though.  He made a 92 on his first Genetics test.  He's going on basically no sleep.  Still,  he's positive & loving & points me to the Lord daily.

If you want to know what to pray for....Pray for Lex to find a balance w/ school, work & us.  He's stretched really thin right now.  Also, pray for me to adjust to being at home w/ Anner alone. I still need help & it's kinda lonely so far.  I know it'll get easier.

I hear some chores calling my name. Gotta go.

I tried loading some pics but it won't let me for some reason.  I did put a new album on our website so you can see the newest pics of our bundle of cuteness!

I will be praying for ya'll too! I know how it is with feeding and trying to do things by yourself. It's tiring but, it's worth it! Keep it up and get sleep when she is sleeping! She's so sweet! :o) Also, have your read Baby wise? It was such a blessing for us! It worked great with Daniel! He started sleeping through the night at 6 weeks.
